Pursuant to the California Public Information Act ("PIA" or the "Act"), codified in the State Government Article of the California Code Cal.Gov.Code 6250 to 6270 and California Government Code sections 50050, the following is a request for an updated list of any and all of the City of Vallejo Outstanding / Stale-dated checks/warrants and or /Stale-dated check/ warrants, which may also be known as Limited Payability Cancellation Reports of refunds and credits (Undeliverable checks); specifically the undeliverable checks for individuals, businesses and vendors. If possible, please indicate or eliminate any checks or accounts that have been or are presently being reissued.
We would like the unclaimed/outstanding items to be 180 days old and older from the date of this letter and greater than $2,000.00.
I understand form other agencies that certain fields on the report may be confidential so we restrict our request to the check number, check date, amount of the check, agency code or reference number, and payee name and address. However, if it is simpler and more cost effective to send the entire report, we can work around the extra fields.
