Request #20-290

Hello Vallejo PD,

I would like to submit an Open Records Request for any video footage (dash or body camera) you have, as well as the arrest report on file, for a pursuit that happened on 5/8/20, where the department was assisted by the California Highway Patrol's Air-37 unit.  It is the same chase you can see at the following link...
If there's anything further I can do to help the process along from my end, please let me know.
Thank you for your time and assistance! I greatly appreciate it, and look forward to hearing from you soon.

On March 16, 2020, the City Council declared a local emergency in response to the global COVID-19 outbreak. The City has sent employees home over concerns of the spread of COVID-19, and City operations have been interrupted. Due to these emergency circumstances, the City's response to your Public Records Act request may be delayed. We expect to address your PRA request when normal business operations resume. Thank you for your patience in these unprecedented times.

I have received your request for a public record. You have requested the following materials:

The California Public Records Act, Government Code §6250, et seq., gives you the right to obtain a copy of identifiable public records. Government Code §6253 provides that the City has up to 10 days after receipt of your request to determine whether to comply with your request and shall immediately notify you of this determination and the reasons therefor.

I will notify you in writing of the City’s determination. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
