Dear Vallejo Records Custodian,

This is a California Public Records Act request.

Please provide the following records in possession of the City of Vallejo:

1. Any and all communications (including but not limited to letters, email, and other records) between Vallejo Police Chief Andrew Bidou and members of the Vallejo Police Officers Association which generally concerned union-management discussions of any workplace issues, collective bargaining issues, VPOA member concerns, discussions about policies and procedures affecting VPOA union members, meet and confer discussions, dissemination of policies and other official information from the police department to the police union's membership, complaints or concerns from union members submitted to the chief and city, or any other matters regarding or of concern to the VPOA union. [Note: I am not asking for confidential materials such as grievance records for disciplinary actions which are exempt from the Public Records Act]

2. Any and all records from meetings (including but not limited to invitations, schedules, agendas, meeting minutes, and accompanying materials such as memos, briefs, or presentations) between Vallejo police department management, including but not limited to Chief Bidou, and members of the Vallejo Police Officers Association.

For items 1 and 2, please search for and provide records generated between the dates of January 1, 2019 and July 1, 2019.

Please provide a determination within ten days for this request.
